The Guidelines to Perfect Manufacturing Innovation System and Promote the Establishment of Manufacturing Innovation Center has been issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information on Aug. 30, in which it puts forward that almost 40 National Manufacturing Innovation Centers will be formed by 2025, in order to speed up the commercialization and industrialization of technology achievements, as well as promote the manufacturing to the high-end value chain.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information, a number of manufacturing innovation center will be set up which focus on the common requirements of the transformation and upgrade of key industries and the development of new generation information technology, intelligent manufacturing, new materials and bio-medicine sectors. By 2020, there will be 15 innovation centers established and it will rise to almost 40 by 2025.

The Ministry of Industry and Information said the manufacturing innovation centers should be set up in accordance with the characteristics of local industrial situations, innovation environments and resources to develop in diversity.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Information will promote the establishment of the complete intellectual property management system, forming synergy innovation, joint operation, shared benefits among the manufacturing innovation center members.
